I’ve been gardening for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a family from southern Ohio, gardening has always been a large part of our culture. From working on multiple 1/4 acre gardens, I’ve grown a little bit of everything. I attribute most of what I know to both my grandparents and great-grandparents.

I love gardening for so many reasons! Playing a part in nature and getting your hands dirty is a breath of fresh air in such a fast-paced life. When I’m out in my garden, I feel completely at peace. In addition, I love cooking and there’s nothing like the taste of fresh produce or the convenience of going into your own backyard for ingredients for tonight’s recipe.

I started Rooted From Home because gardening is my passion that I love sharing with everyone. I’ve met so many people who want to have a garden and don’t know where to start or think they have a black thumb, when in reality, they just need guidance. It can be quite overwhelming! My goal is to make the process as easy as possible. I currently work with residents of Franklin and Delaware County. I’d love to help you in your journey to better gardening!
